Pump Output Calculator
Pump Output Calculator converts a duplex pump's own liner size, stroke length, volumetric efficiency, and pump speed into flow rate and bbl/stroke output, using a standard duplex-pump liner/stroke reference table — plus the time needed to pump a target volume at that rate. Run it in reverse to solve for the pump speed needed to hit a target flow rate.
How It Works
bbl/stroke = 1 ÷ Stk./bbl. (standard liner/stroke Factor A, scaled from an 85% baseline to your own efficiency). Flow rate (gpm) = bbl/stroke × pump rate (stk/min) × 42. Time to pump = volume (bbl) × 42 ÷ flow rate (gpm).

When You'd Use It
Before pumping cement, spacer, or any other fluid, engineers convert their rig pump's own liner/stroke/speed into a flow rate and the time a job will take — or work backward from a target rate to the pump speed needed to hit it.
